Ray Steinhart
General Manager

Ray began working at Steinhart’s 30 years ago. He started out working part-time helping out when he could and then began full-time as the General Manager.

Ray says he enjoys working at Steinhart’s because he gets to meet and work with a lot of nice people.

Ray lives in Platteville, WI with his wife Margaret. He has five children, seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a dog named Rockie. In his free time Ray enjoys playing cards, going to tractor pulls and playing with his dog.

Joe started his career in farm sales at Steinhart’s eight years ago.

Joe says that Steinhart’s is a very professional and relaxed atmosphere to work in. He really enjoys meeting and working with all the farmers along with helping them become more successful and efficient.

Joe was born in Bellevue, IA. He has been living in Lancaster, WI since 1970. He resides there with his wife Andrea and his son Andy. He has two daughters, Sara and Kelli. He also has one grandson, Baby Joey. Joe’s hobbies are spending time with his family and friends’, going to his son Andy’s sporting events, along with hunting and fishing.

Dan Timmerman
Service Technician

Dan, also known as D.T., began his years of service 12 years ago.

D.T. says the best thing about working at Steinhart’s is that every day brings something different; you never have to worry about doing the same thing over and over again.

D.T. resides in East Dubuque with his wife, Ruth. He has two sons, Matt and Joel, and two step-daughters, Carly and Teri. In his free time Dan enjoys spending time with his family and gardening.

Chad Fenner June Employee of the Month
Service Technician

Chad has been working at Steinhart’s for a year and a half. He specializes in detailing and equipment set-up.

Chad enjoys working at Steinhart’s because he gets to help everyone get their broken products fixed and looking good.

Chad lives in Darlington with his wife, Jenny and his two boys, Brent and Kevin. In his spare time Chad likes to ride his GoldWing motorcycle with the GWRRA (GoldWing club). He also enjoys garden tractor pulling and spending time with his family.

Shawn Martin

Shawn graduated the University of Wisconsin-Platteville in 1997. He farmed with his uncle shortly after college, then began working at Steinhart's in 2004.

Shawn says that the best thing about his job is that he gets to help different people solve different problems every day.

Shawn is originally from Lancaster, WI. He currently lives in Platteville with his wife, Rachel and his two kids, Sami and Jesse. In his free time Shawn enjoys snowmobiling, four wheeling, hunting and hanging out with his family.

Service Technician

Joe, also known as Popper, has been working at Steinhart’s for over four years. John and Karen are his aunt and uncle so he has spent a lot of summers growing up in the shop. Joe specializes in mixer maintenance.

Popper says that the best thing about working at Steinhart’s is that he gets to work so close to family.

Popper is originally from Madison, WI. He now lives in Cuba City, WI. In his spare time he enjoys being in the outdoors. He likes to hunt, fish, and ride his four-wheeler and snowmobile.

Gerard Wedig
Service Technician

Gerard started his career at Steinhart’s ten years ago. He specializes in scale systems, gearboxes and engines.
Gerard says his favorite thing about working at Steinhart’s is that each employee is treated like they are important to John and Karen and to the business.

Gerard resides in Belmont with his wife, Bev. He has four children, Brenda, Trisha, John and Kayla. In his spare time Gerard enjoys fishing, playing cards, helping his brothers’ farm and spending time with his family.

Phil Casper
Service Technician

Phil, also known as Goose, has been employed at Steinhart’s for five years. Prior to working at Steinhart’s Phil farmed from 1980 to 1994, he then worked construction from 1994 to 2001.

Phil says his favorite thing about working at Steinhart’s is that he gets to work with friendly people and he likes that he gets to do a different job every day.

Phil lives in Cuba City, WI with his wife, Julie and his daughter Kelly. He also has two boys, Kevin and Kyle. Phil enjoys goose hunting, ginseng hunting, fishing, deer hunting, and spending time with his family.

Brittney Jacobs
Marketing and Administrative Manager

Brittney has been on the Steinhart’s team for two years. She began working at Steinhart’s while in her senior year of college. She graduated in December of 2008 with a degree in Animal Science and an emphasis in Agribusiness. Brittney assists in the parts and service department and does all of the advertising.

Brittney says that she enjoys working at Steinhart’s because she gets to meet new people and she likes that she gets to learn something new every day and use her creativity.

Brittney is originally from Sterling, IL. She currently lives in Cuba City. In her free time Brittney enjoys hunting, fishing, camping, making jewelry, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.

Carrie Eastlick
Bookkeeper

Carrie is a Platteville Native. She is a May 2007 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. She has a degree in Business and an emphasis in Human Resources.

Carrie says she enjoys working on Steinhart's because it is a strong, family-oriented business and all of the employees are very knowledgeable on what we sell.

In her free time, Carrie enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys spending her time outdoors grilling out and boating.
